The fight against corruption is not only something that must be done in the present, but also thinking of the future ahead of us. It is therefore important to involve the younger generations, be it teenage youths, university students, or young professionals, in the fight against corruption. This category seeks to recognize and encourage those projects designed and led by or for young people and, where applicable, supported by non-governmental organizations or civil society. The projects could range from anti-corruption initiatives led by youth, summer camps or schools and awareness raising campaigns coordinated by youths. What matters most is that the development and leadership in the implementation of individual or collective activities, projects or initiatives designed to raise awareness, propose new solutions preventing and combating corruption among young people or society at large.

Why Nominate

The impact of international awards in the field of anti-corruption and rule of law appears to be an under-evaluated activity. Assessments to measure the actual results that can directly be attributed to these awards did not appear to be available in the public domain.
